Doriski, John, Jr. - Schaghticoke, Rensselaer Co., (1947-2013) John Doriski Jr. died on Thursday, December 5, 2013 at the Hoosick Falls Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Hoosick Falls, NY. He was one week short of his 66th birthday. He was a graduate of Hoosic Valley Central School, Schaghticoke, NY and the University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK. He retired as an Aerospace Engineer at Boeing, Seattle, WA. John Enjoyed nature, sports, photography, oil painting and was an accomplished ballroom dancer. Survivors include his parents, John and Viola (Isaacs) Doriski; a brother, Alvin (Connie) Doriski of Phoenix, AZ; two sisters, Patricia Doriski Andes and Allene Doriski both of Schaghticoke, NY and several cousins, aunts and uncles. Relatives and friends may call from 5-7pm on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 173 Main Street, Schaghticoke. Funeral services will be at 10am on Thursday, December 12 at the funeral home. Burial will be in the family plot in Elmwood Cemetery, Schaghticoke.
