Stillwater, Saratoga County John F. Crammond Jr., born on May 10, 1944. Son of the late Helen (DeCota) and John Crammond. John was a lifelong resident of Stillwater, NY. He proudly served his country in the United States Army and remained a proud patriot throughout his life. His passion in life was training his racehorses and all things harness racing. His fondest memories were made with his countless friends that he met across New England while racing his horses. His grandchildren were his pride and joy. If you were fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him, he likely had a beer in one hand and a good story to tell. John leaves behind his wife Margaret (Carr) Crammond, Daughters, Audra Crammond and Johna (Jeff) Benson and grandchildren, Amanda and Timothy Benson and Aaron Carden who he considered a grandson. Siblings Richard (Debbie) Crammond and Shelley Paesano and his closest friends in whom he considered family. Graveside services will be conducted at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery on Monday, May 17, 2021 at 2:30pm with military honors. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Saratoga Warhorse or the Standardbred Retirement Foundation.
