Joan Elizabeth (Whitney) Hagadorn of Hagadorn Lane passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, December 24, 2025 with her loving family surrounding her. She was 79.

Born on December 25, 1945 in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Ruth (Person) Whitney. She is the widow of the late David Arthur Hagadorn who passed away in 2015.

Joan was a past member of the Saratoga Eagles and a member of the Arvin Hart Fire Company Ladies Auxillary. She worked in food service at Stillwater Central School.

Survivors include her son David Hagadorn, Jr., (Michelle Medert) and her daughter Julie Hagadorn (Phillip Colarusso, Jr.), her siblings Betty (George) Strong, Robert (Robyn) Whitney and Kenneth Whitney, her grandchildren, Amber Hagadorn, Killian Mahar, Bruce Zeller III, Mark Gardner, Emma Gardner and her great grandchildren Luke Duncan, Skylar and Teagan Zeller and Kylee Greenburg as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and her beloved canine companion, Rosie. Joan is also survived by her 'biotch' Amanda Becker, Dominique Duncan and Landon Duncan who she loved as if they were her grandchildren and her dear life long friend Nancy Ody.

In addition to her husband and parents, Joan is predeceased by several siblings.

Services for Joan will be private at the convenience of her family.
