Bouchey, Joan M Schaghticoke Joan M Bouchey, 90 of Schaghticoke, passed away on January 2, 2022 after a brief illness. Joan was born September 20, 1931 in Troy, NY. Daughter of the late Aloysius & Henrietta (Dwyer) Bouchey, Joan was a graduate of Catholic Central High class of 1949. During her life Joan worked as a secretary at the former Hendrick Hudson Hotel in Troy, Hoosic Valley Central School as a bus driver & aid and as Village of Schaghticoke Clerk for 34 years. Joans volunteer work included the Schaghticoke Fire Auxiliary, President of Hoosic Valley Rescue Squad, honorary member of Melrose Fire Dept and past President of American Legion Post #731 Auxiliary where she recently received an award for 70 years of membership. Joan is survived by daughters Joanne Slocum, Jacqueline Rogers (Kevin), son John Hogan Jr (Michael) and grandsons Noah & Elisha Rogers. Funeral mass will be celebrated Friday, January 7th, 11 a.m. at the Transfiguration Parish, Schaghticoke, followed by internment at St. Johns cemetery, Schaghticoke.
