Obituary

Stillwater, Saratoga County Jennie T. Bisnett formerly of Ten Broeck Street passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Eddy Village Green. She was 98. Born on December 30, 1922 in the Bronx, NY, she is the daughter of the late Serafino and Carmela (Marino) Zito. She is the widow of the late Freeman J. Bisnett and has lived in Stillwater since 1950. Mrs. Bisnett was a graduate of the Albany Business College and worked as a Dictaphone machine transcriber for the Department of Taxation and Finance in Albany for 31 years. She was past president of the Peters Purcell Ladies Auxiliary Post #21, a member of the Rosary Society and member of the National Campers and Hikers, member of the Mechanicville Senior Citizens, co-president of the Active Angels Retirees Camping Club, member of the Stillwater Democratic Club and Communicant of St. Peter the Apostle Church in Stillwater. Survivors include a son, Frank J. (Marie) Bisnett of Stillwater, two grandchildren, Julie (Matt) Pilotti and Andrew Bisnett both of Stillwater, three nieces and one nephew. She is predeceased by her son, Joseph Bisnett, her daughter Tina Marie Bisnett brother Carl H. Zito and a sister Marie Monahan-Matarazzo. Funeral Mass for Jennie will be celebrated on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 10:00am at All Saints on the Hudson (Formerly St. Peter the Apostle) 895 Hudson Avenue, Stillwater. Burial will be in the family plot in St. Peters Cemetery, Stillwater.
