Mechanicville, Saratoga County Jeffrey G. Minick of Graves Road passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 9, 2013 at the Albany Medical Center Hospital. He was 56. Born on February 24, 1957 in Saratoga Springs, son of the late James P. Minick and Natalie (Murray) Minick. He is the husband of Sharon A. Fitzgerald whom he married on March 16, 1982. Jeff was a chemical operator for General Electric in Waterford for 29 years. He enjoyed horses and playing poker. He was the life of the party and enjoyed the family gatherings. Jeff was an avid Green Bay Packers and New York Mets fan. Above all he was a devoted son, husband, father and brother. Survivors in addition to his mother Natalie Minick and his wife of 31 years, Sharon Minick include their children Jeffrey G. Minick, Nathan Minick and Dannielle Minick all of Mechanicville, his siblings, James Minick of Troy, Jane Catricala of Watervliet, Gregg and wife Bonnie Minick of Stillwater, Carol and husband Vince Krasuski of Mechanicville and Scott Minick of Haymarket, VA. as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family would like to thank the staff at the Saratoga Hospital Emergency Room and the staff at Albany Medical Center Emergency Room and Intensive Care Unit for their care of Jeff.
