Jean Wilson, 91, entered into eternal life on Sunday, March 27th, 2011, at her home with her loving family by her side. Jean was born on June 11, 1919. She was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Joseph Wilson Jr. and son Joseph Wilson III. She was the loving mother of Jeanne Wilson of Stillwater, Joanne (Paul) DeCota of Pensacola, FL, Nancy Morocco of Middlesex, VT, Priscilla (Mike) Callahan of Stillwater, Sandra (Bill) Wilson-Root of Mechanicville. Jean was also a proud grandmother of 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by 6 sisters and 4 brothers and survived by two brothers, Jack Moore of Saratoga Springs and Dick Moore of Stillwater. Jean was a graduate of Stillwater High School. She was employed by General Electric during World War II, the Stocking Factory in Stillwater, and D & H Railroad. She was a member of the Stillwater Village Improvement, Upton Chapter #679 of the Eastern Star, and a Brownie troop leader for many years. She was a member of St. Lukes Episcopal Church where she participated in Evening Prayer Group, St. Marthas Guild, Alter Guild, and taught nursery school. Jean enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She spent many years caring for her nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. One of her favorite past-times was riding through the Saratoga National Battlefield viewing and counting deer. She was an avid Bingo player and an expert at Word Find challenges which brought pleasure during her long illness. She was a fan of YNN , baseball, and a longtime supporter of the Lakota Tribe of North Dakota. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, March 30th, from 5 7 pm at Dunn Funeral Homes, Inc., 729 (formerly 121) Hudson Ave. in Stillwater. Funeral will be held on Thursday, March 31st, at 10 am at St. Lukes Church, 40 McBride Road in Mechanicville.
