Galway Saratoga County Jason William Houghton passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022 at Saratoga Hospital. He was 53. Born in Schenectady on February 24, 1969, son of Carroll Houghton and the late Mary Lou Benson-Wilcox (Fred Wilcox). He is the husband of Lynn (Miller) Houghton. Jason retired from Quad Graphics of Saratoga Springs after a 32 year career. He liked to keep to himself, but enjoyed time with close friends and was a devoted family man. He loved being at home and spending time refurbishing antiques, working on old cars and having a fire. His wit and dry sense of humor will be greatly missed. Survivors in addition to his father, Carroll and wife Lynn include his children, Jeffery (Brianna) Houghton of Galway, Jennifer (Ian) Jones of Glenville and Kristen Houghton of Amsterdam, his grandchildren Brayden Huestis, Isabella Olsen and Preston Houghton. He is predeceased by his brother Christopher Houghton. Graveside services will be at 11am on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Foster Hill Cemetery with Charlie Ball officiating.
