Obituary

Jane A. Overocker of High Street passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. She was 89.

Born in Quaker Springs on April 20, 1935, daughter of the late Arthur and Anna (Bennett) Armer. She is the widow of the late Arthur Overocker.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Marianna (John) Denier of Mechanicville and Stacy (Timothy) Sanderson of Schaghticoke, her grandchildren, Mollie Denier, Brianna Denier (Ashanti Gladden), Sean Johnson, Seth Johnson, Christina Sanderson (Michael Sarni), Margaret Sanderson, Katherine (Dean II) Anderson and a great grandchild Dean Anderson, III. Also survived by a brother-in-law Robert (late Linda) Overocker and several nieces and nephews. Jane was also expecting her second great grandson Carmelo Makai Gladden in March of 2025.

In addition to her husband Arthur and her parents, she is predeceased by her siblings, William Armer, Arthur Armer, Anna Armer, Walter Armer, her twin sister Joan Armer and Barbara Armer.

Calling hours will be on Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 10:30am – 12:30pm at All Saints on the Hudson Church, Stillwater. Funeral Mass will be at 12:30 with burial to follow in the Saratoga National Cemetery at 2:00pm.

Jane's family would like to thank all the wonderful aides who cared for their mother. Also, special thanks to Helen Endres and Sally Ann Herrick for their friendship and support.
