James Leo St.Gelais, 74, died peacefully with his wife by his side on Thursday October 19, 2023, at Brigham Womens Hospital in Boston, after a lengthy battle with Cancer. He was born in Cohoes, NY on May 11, 1949 and was the son of the late Donald and Shirley St.Gelais. Jim was a skilled auto mechanic and he enjoyed helping friends and family with his expertise. He loved fishing, gardening, spending time with his cousins, his wife, children and grandchildren. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Ann (Geren) St.Gelais, his son Jay (Jodi) St.Gelais and their children Quinn, Eliza, and Ameilia, daughter Danielle (Steven) Yeager their children Liam and Lyla, his sister, Patricia (Fran) Benanati, as well as his beloved in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Jim is predeceased by his sister, Donna Smith, and his brothers, Lee & Donald St.Gelais.
