James (Jim) W. Faulkner, 70, of Colonial Road, Stillwater, N.Y., passed away on Friday, July 19, 2024 at Albany Medical Center.
He was born in Troy on July 26, 1953, the son of Harry L. and Ruth (Williamson) Faulkner. He is the husband of Lori J. (Schreivogl) Faulkner.
Jim was a 1971 Hoosic Valley Central School graduate, from Schaghticoke, N.Y. He attended Albany State. Jim worked with D.C.G. Development and was the District Manager for Crescent Waste Water of Clifton Park. Jim was a member of the Halfmoon Volunteer Fire Department. As a teenager, he was a member of Boy Scout Troop #49, Valley Falls, N.Y. He is a member of the Valley Falls Methodist Church.
His favorite pass times were many...Digging and collecting bottles, gardening, rooting for the N.Y. Knicks, taking drives, looking for eagles, playing horseshoes, darts and,a fun game of Farkle. Jim had a huge heart...family came first...and, if you were his friend, it was for life.
Jim is predeceased by his parents and sister Barbara Snyder.
Jim leaves behind his loving wife of 40 years, Lori , their three sons, Dewey (Kathy) Faulkner of Corinth and Jeremy Jackson (Tracy)of Fort Edward and Harry J. Faulkner of Stillwater. He is also survived by his siblings John Faulkner of Valley Falls and Nancy (Mike) Schreivogl of Johnstown, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family would like to thank Saratoga Hospital and Albany Medical Center, their Doctors, and staff for their wonderful support and care given to Jim.
Calling hours will be at The Valley Falls Methodist Church, 16 State Street, Valley Falls, N.Y. On Wednesday, July 31, 2024, 5 pm-7 pm, followed by a memorial service (wear your flannel shirt and bring your favorite story to share). A reception will follow at the church.
In lieu of flowers, kindly consider a donation to the Saratoga County Animal Shelter or the Stillwater VFW in loving memory of Jim Faulkner.
