Hoosick Falls, Rensselaer County James Hugh Bryant passed away on Monday, August 23 at the Southwestern Vermont Medical Center. He was 76. Born in Hoosick Falls on June 13, 1945 son of the late Daniel Joseph and Lois (Martin) Bryant. Mr. Bryant worked many jobs through his life including working in the oil fields in Arizona, bartending at several Indian reservations and locally for the B&M Railroad. He had a solid work ethic and loved having fun with the ones he loved. He loved spending time with his son Jim when he would visit him in Texas. A caring and giving person, he was honest and you always knew where you stood with him. He was a mans man and loved card tricks, was the "quarter game" champion and his favorite days were those spent on Hunt Road in Buskirk. He certainly was the life of the party and will be sorely missed. He is survived by his friend and caretaker Lauri Hoyle, his girls Brandy Girl "Smurfette" Boyce and Crystal Boyce, Claudia and his life long friend Hugh Amoroso, his children James Jeffrey Bryant and his daughter Jocelyn, Gina Bryant, Victoria Bryant and Todd Baldwin and his brothers Bill Bryant and Daniel Bryant.
