Mechanicville Saratoga County R. Gloria Verdicchio of South Second Street passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at the Glendale Nursing Home. She was 90. Born on January 26, 1930, daughter of the late Luca and Anna (Siciliano) Verdicchio. Gloria retired from G.E. Silicone in Waterford as an administrative assistant after 33 years and was a member of their Quarter Century Club. She was a communicant of Assumption/St. Paul Church and was a past officer and member of the Mechanicville Senior Center. She is survived by her nieces, Lucia Ferrara of NJ and Gina (Steven) Coons of TX, her great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews and several cousins. Gloria is predeceased by her brother Peter (Viola) Verdicchio and a niece Cristina Stayback. A private funeral mass will be conducted at All Saints on the Hudson Church, Mechanicville with burial in the family plot in St. Pauls Cemetery.
