Saratoga County, Stillwater Gina Marie Childrose-Hunt of Hudson Avenue passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2012 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. She was 44. Born in Albany on May 1, 1968, she is a daughter of Allen and Helen "Judie" (Hofelich) Childrose. She is the wife of Harold B. "Harry" Hunt whom she married on May 16, 2008. Gina was employed at Stillwater Elementary School for 11 years where she was a Special Education Teaching Assistant. Her beloved husband and children will remember her as a caring and loving person, always putting them first. She loved reading, baking and cooking and enjoyed Halloween and Christmas - she loved having her family together. Gina loved her cats Emmitt, Scooby, Harley and Shadow. She was also a Pittsburg Steelers fan and NASCAR enthusiast, cheering for Jimmie Johnson. Survivors in addition to her parents and husband include her beloved children, Zachary, Brittany and Chelsea Hunt of Stillwater, her siblings, Alicia (Steve) Borini of Rotterdam, Kimberly Rushia of Rotterdam and Paul DeSorrento of Latham. Also survived by her sisters-in-law, Dawn, Cheryl and Michele. Relatives and friends may call from 5-7pm on Wednesday, November 7 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 729 Hudson Avenue (formerly 121 N. Hudson).
