Stillwater, Saratoga County Gary O. Post died after a long illness. Born in Troy, NY to Alice and Orville Post. He is predeceased by his brother in law Donald Brookley. He is survived by two sons, Matthew Post of Vermont and Earl Frankie Post of Florida, five grandchildren, his sister, Jane A. Brookley of Stillwater and beloved caregiver, Jo Ann Courier of South Glens Falls. He is a graduate of Stillwater Central School and Hudson Valley Community College. He was employed by General Foods for 20 years and also worked for the Town of Queensbury. Relatives and friends may call from 10-11:00am on Monday, December 26, 2016 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 729 Hudson Avenue, Stillwater. Funeral service will follow at 11:00am in the funeral home. Burial will be in the family plot in Stillwater Union Cemetery in the spring.
