Melrose, Rensselaer County Gary Edward Campbell of Sylvia Drive passed away at home on Saturday, May 22, 2021. He was 75. Born in Troy on January 8, 1946, son of the late Millard B. and Cecelia (Beagle) Campbell. He is the husband of Jodi L. (Ludwig) Campbell. He is a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, serving from 1965-1969. Gary is the proud father of Bret Campbell of Melrose, Mollie Campbell of Galway and stepfather of Sara Wood of Glens Falls and Gary M. Campbell of Round Top, NY. Grandfather of Anthony Wood III and Ava Wood, both of Mechanicville. Also survived by his sister Cheryl Dodd of Speigletown and Millard "Pete" Campbell of Melrose and his sister-in-law Lori Paterakis of Green Island as well as several nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted on Friday, May 28, 2021 at Elmwood Cemetery, Schaghticoke with military honors.
