Fred J. Wolff of County Route 60, passed away at the Hoosick Falls Health Center due to complications from a stroke on Saturday, February 22, 2014. He was 62. Born in Troy on September 9, 1951, son of the late Kenneth "Doc" and Lucile (Buckley) Wolff. Fred worked as a dairy farmer at the Wolff Farms of Easton. He enjoyed buying and selling cattle and attending the Cambridge Valley Livestock Auctions. He was an avid bird and fowl enthusiast and enjoyed hunting and butchering. Above all he loved spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include his children, Jeremy (Andrea) Wolff of Valley Falls, Brady (Kia) Wolff of Greenwich, Freddie (Kaitlin) Wolff, Kyle K. Wolff and Jason Spear all of Easton, his companion, Darlene Eriksen of Cambridge and his siblings, Ted (Beth) Wolff and Sharon Trothier both of Greenwich. His beloved grandchildren, Kaleb, Kassidy, Madison, Jaron, Rylan, Casey, Mackenzie and Bradley Wolff. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends may call from 3-7pm on Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 173 Main Street Schaghticoke.
