Florence C. (Sprague) Moll Stillwater, Saratoga County Moll, Florence Catherine "Flo", 82, of Stillwater, NY, passed away July 3, 2022 at her home with loving family by her side. Born June 22, 1940, the daughter of Mary (Hoag) and Lawrence Sprague Sr. of Beadle Hill, Easton, NY; moving to Stillwater in 1958 after marrying George (Bill) Moll and raising seven children. She was an all time people person. She was known for her lasagna, her laugh, and her devotion to family and friends. She knew everyone in town, walking most places with her kids in tow. She loved visiting with friends and neighbors and had a gift of remembering names and birthdays. After getting her driver's license, she was non stop running the roads, visiting with folks and lifting the spirits of those in need. For many years she cleaned houses and later worked in the domestics department of Kmart in Clifton Park. After suffering a stroke in 2012 she heroically regained her strength. She was a tough cookie who spoke her mind. She often enjoyed visiting with people at Bubbles and The Rooster. Florence is predeceased by her parents, infant son Louis, and her husband George of 48 years. She leaves behind her siblings, loving sister Ilene "Patty" (late Joe) Griffen, big brother Larry Jr. (Mary Alice), Bill (Sandy), and Bobby (Ruth). Her pride and joy were her children, Thomas (Sue), Laura, Linda, Timothy, David (Jill), Mary (Patrick), and William (Diana). She was the grandmother to Mia, Tara, Christopher, Jenna, Megan, Joclynn, Samantha, Brandon, Cassandra, Isaiah, Benjamin, Adam, and Olivia; great grandmother to Tyler, Joel, Ava, Liam, Joel, Finn, Nina, Vivian and Lennox. Also, survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews and close friends. Calling hours will be from 4:00-7:00pm on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 729 Hudson Avenue, Stillwater. Funeral service will be conducted at 8:00am on Friday in the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Saratoga National Cemetery at 9:30am.
