Mechanicville, Saratoga County Eunice Evelyn Haney (St. Gelais) passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, February 16, 2023. She was 80. Born on September 13, 1942 in Troy, daughter of the late Russell and Lola (Duschene) Gordon. She is the widow of the late Arthur St. Gelais and the late George W. Haney. Eunice worked as a school bus driver for the Mechanicville Central School District and for the City of Mechanicville Seniors. Survivors include her daughters, Jamie Haney (Vinnie Vardine) of Schenectady and Kim Haney-Dennis of Troy. Her siblings, Patricia Gordon-Bird (Woody Eisler) of Ballston Spa, Russell Gordon and Rick (Tina) Gordon both of Mechanicville. Also survived by her grandchildren, Anthony Wood, Jamie Wood, Matthew Wood and Alexis Dennis, eight great grandchildren and her niece Brittney Gordon as well as several other nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be from 5-7:00pm on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 319 Park Avenue, Mechanicville. Funeral service will be Wednesday at 11:00am in the funeral home with burial to follow in Hudson View Cemetery.
