Emily Morgan-Meier D'Aquila beloved daughter, wife, niece, granddaughter, cousin & loyal friend, passed on Saturday, April 13, 2019, at the home she shared with her husband in Jacksonville FL. She was 23. Emily leaves behind her husband Cameron D'Aquila (the love of her life), her parents - Elizabeth (Greene) Meier and Gary Meier of Halfmoon NY, Barbara (mother-in-law), Joseph (father-in-law) & Nicole D'Aquila (sister-in-law) all of Largo FL, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, a grandmother (Patricia Meier), many cherished friends & 5 cats.
Emily was a creative soul - loving to paint, draw and write. She loved reading, music, and living near the ocean. She had traveled through Europe and spoke 4 languages. Some activities she enjoyed were fishing, 4-wheeling, boating, tubing, target shooting (she had earned her Pro-Marksman certificate), cheering for her Yankees, and wearing her Lilly Pulitzer.
Her dream car had always been a yellow VW Beetle and she had gotten that in December and was a member of the United V Dubs of Jacksonville. She was also a past member of the Halfmoon Celebrations Assoc. and volunteered her time and talents at many town events.
She was a graduate of Shenendehowa High School Class of 2013 and attended The College of Saint Rose, University of Albany & Farmingdale State College on Long Island.
Most recently, she had started her own business - Flamingo Chicks Nannying and Babysitting Services and had been attending the Mayport Naval Station Chapel in Jacksonville, Florida.
In describing Emily, she had a big heart, loved animals, was fearless, loyal, funny, creative, unique, adventurous and certainly wasn't afraid to speak her mind. Our Emily was a beautiful child of God and will forever be missed by all who knew her.
