Stillwater, Saratoga County Douglas M. Shaw of Gurba Drive passed away on November 21, 2021 at home after being stricken. He was 58 years old. Born in Jacksonville, Florida on May 1, 1963, son of Thomas Alton and Sharon Lee (Cave) Shaw of Cameron, North Carolina. He is the husband of Cheryl White Shaw (one week shy of celebrating 30 wonderful years). Doug worked in the Semi-Conductor Industry for 45 years and most recently as Principal Engineer Technician for GlobalFoundries of Malta, NY. He loved camping, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Survivors in addition to his parents, Thomas and Sharon, and his beloved wife, Cheryl who he married on December 7, 1991 include his children, Chelsey Elizabeth (Scott) Royle of Amelia, Virginia and Thomas Dean Shaw of Sterling, Virginia. Also, his brother, Mark Thomas Shaw of Snellville, Georgia, adoring grandson Bellamy Lee Royle as well as five nieces and four nephews. Services will be private and at the convenience of his family.
