Barbolt, Dorothy Ann Stillwater, Saratoga County Dorothy Ann Barbolt of Hudson Avenue passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, December 24, 2015 with her loving family and best friend Fran Messore at her side. She was 87. Born in Stillwater on September 8, 1928, daughter of the late John and Anna (Olesko) Poraski. She is the wife of the late Leo Barbolt whom passed away on July 18, 2015. Dorothy worked as a cafeteria aid in the Stillwater Central School System. She was a member of the American Legion Post 1644 Ladies Auxillary and a parishioner of the former St. Peters Church in Stillwater. She enjoyed walking with her friends at the Stillwater School and cooking and baking for family and friends. In earlier years she and her husband Leo loved vacationing together and having lunch together daily. Survivors include her children, Sharon (Michael) Rich of Stillwater, Lisa (Emmet) Prosser of Clifton Park and Anita (Tad) Baisley of Stillwater, her sister Stepha Vega of Mechanicville, grandchildren Jason (Miriam) Rich, Jeromy Rich, Brianna Rolston, Brandon Stanley, Ryan (Jenny) Baisley and Shawn Baisley as well as her great grandchildren, Madison and Skyler Rich, Kenna Marie Rolston and Callen Baisley and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by a son, Michael Wayne Barbolt and her siblings, Walter Coby Roman, Joseph Roman, Frank Roman, Sophie Callander, her twin brother Nick Poraski, Anne Andrews, Michael Roman and Jenny Poraski Relatives and friends may call from 2-6pm on Monday, December 28, 2015 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 729 Hudson Avenue, Stillwater. Funeral Mass will be conducted at 11am on Tuesday, December 29 at All Saints on the Hudson Church, Stillwater. Burial will be in the family plot in St. Peters Cemetery, Stillwater. The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Christine Buhlinger, the Community Hospice and Peg and Angie for the compassionate care given to Dorothy and her family.
