Delores Jean (Hare) Raut Saratoga County, Mechanicville Delores Jean (Hare) Raut passed away peacefully on Monday, October 26, 2015 at the Saratoga Center for Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing. She was 82. Born on August 22, 1933 in Syracuse, daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Alt) Hare, Sr. She is the wife of the late Richard Raut. Delores was a loving person who cared deeply for her family. She enjoyed cooking, yardwork and in earlier years playing bingo with her husband. Survivors include her sons, Richard Raut of Mechanicville and Dave (Cindy) Raut of Amsterdam, a daughter Darlene (Roger) Landry of Stillwater, beloved grandchildren Lisa (RJ) Laurenzo, William Ormsby, Colleen Haight and Eric Haight. Also survived by her step brother Albert (Janet) Miller of Apulia, her step sister Marylou (Pete) Grieb of Long Island and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her step mother Norma Hare, her sisters, Shirley Workman and Betty Slater, a half-brother John Jack Hare, Jr., and her step brother Robert Bob Miller. Relatives and friends may call from 5-7pm on Thursday, October 29, 2015 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 729 Hudson Avenue, Stillwater. Services will continue on Saturday, October 31 with visiting from 10-11am at the Hartwell Funeral Home, 461 Route 281, Tully, NY. Funeral service will follow in the funeral home at 11am.
