Schaghticoke, Rensselaer County Deborah Jean Taven-Czuwala passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at St. Peters Hospital in Albany after a long illness. She was 59. Born in Lincoln, NB on May 20, 1958, daughter of the late Ronald and Hjordis (Olson) Taven, Deborah was a retired executive florist and a 1976 graduate of Hickman HS Columbia, MO. She is the wife of Peter J. Czuwala whom she married on June 10, 2002. In addition to her husband she is survived by a sister, Julie K. Taven of Ithaca, her niece Kelsey Amanda Taven Davis of Ithaca and her nephew Dallas Boone Davis of Santa Rosa, CA. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of her family.
