Schaghticoke, Rensselaer County
David Dalpe of Hansen Road passed away at home on Thursday, May 3, 2018 with his loving family at his side. He was 55.
Born on February 11, 1963 in Schenectady, son of Emile and Sarah (LeRoux) Dalpe. He is the husband of Shannon (Gray) Dalpe whom he married March 24, 2012.
Dave worked in the maintenance department at Shenendehowa Central Schools. He loved riding his Harley Davidson and was an avid outdoorsman he especially enjoyed hunting, four wheeling and construction. He was a member of the Clifton Park American Legion, Mohawk Post 1450. He loved pizza was an animal lover and will be missed by his dogs Nala, Zane and Teka.
Survivors in addition to his wife, Shannon Dalpe of Schaghticoke include his children, Felecia Dalpe (Rob Lewis) of Cohoes, James Dalpe (McKenzy Walsh) of Schaghticoke, Justin Thompson of Kingston, Brandon Moses of Schaghticoke and Seth Kenyon of Galway, a granddaughter, Savannah Iacopelli, his siblings, Dennis (Betsy) Dalpe of Niskayuna, Deborah (Ernie) Perry of Halfmoon, Eleanor (Ken) Dalpe-Somers of Halfmoon, Daniel (Penny) Dalpe of Hoosick Falls, his nephew and best friend John Perry of Halfmoon as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends may call from 4-7:00 pm on Monday, May 7, 2018 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 319 Park Avenue, Mechanicville. Funeral mass will be conducted at 9:00am on Tuesday, May 8 at All Saints on the Hudson, South Church, 121 North Main Street, Mechanicville. Burial will follow at St. Josephs Cemetery, Waterford.
