Dana M. Wrobel, Mechanicville Dana Marie Wrobel, 50, died peacefully on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Saratoga Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Troy on June 11, 1971, she was the daughter of RoseMarie Perretta Ennello of Schuyler Ridge, Clifton Park, and the late John A. Ennello, Sr. She was the beloved sister of the late John A. Ennello, Jr. Dana was a 1990 graduate of Mechanicville High School and was trained in cosmetology at Austins School of Spa Technology in Albany. A lifelong resident of Mechanicville, she was a retired licensed cosmetologist. Dana was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and loved puzzles, computer games and intricate repairs. Danas proudest achievement was being a mother. She was a devoted parent and confidante to sons David (Hailey Gardner), Zachery (Shelby Goot) and Austin (Tia Powers) Wrobel, all of Mechanicville. Her greatest joy was being Mimi to her granddaughter Kylee Anne Wrobel and her soon-to-be second grandchild. Dana loved hosting holiday dinners and having a house filled with family and lifelong friends. She was a second mom to her sons friends and girlfriends. Survivors, in addition to her sons and grandchildren, include her partner, Jay; her sons dad, David Wrobel, Sr.; her mother, sister Deanna (John) Butler of Stillwater; nieces Avery and Elise Butler; and beloved Paislee and Ryleigh. Dana was the honorary triplet to twins Stamatia (Stacy) Fragakis Means and Sofia Fragakis Preece, and loved by their mom, Mary Ellen DeMarco. She was the best friend of Michelle Ford. Dana will be forever cherished and missed. Her family is deeply grateful for the care given to her from the ICU professionals at Saratoga Hospital. Services will be held Friday, October 29th with calling hours from 9:00 to 10:30 a.m. at Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 729 Hudson Avenue, Stillwater, followed by a funeral Mass for family and invited friends at All Saints on the Hudson (St. Peter's) Church, in Stillwater.
