Schaghticoke, Rensselaer County Claudia B.(Burdick) Lee of Pleasant Avenue, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016 at her residence. She was 76. Born in Troy on November 21, 1939, daughter of the late William and Alice (Palmer) Burdick. She is the wife of Wayne Lee whom she married at the Schaghticoke United Presbyterian Church on October 8, 1960. Claudia was very active at the Presbyterian United Church, serving as secretary, member of the board of trustees and served on the Session. She was also involved in the bible study group and sang in the choir. She was an avid quilter, sewer, knitter and loved reading. Survivors in addition to her husband Wayne Lee include children, Phyllis (Doug) Kaehler of Niskayuna, Darryl (Amy) Lee of Tomhannock, Diane (Andy) Minenna of Ormond Beach, FL and David (Cheri) Lee of Tomhannock. Also survived by her siblings, 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 10:00am on Thursday, September 29, 2016 at the Presbyterian United Church, 165 Main Street, Schaghticoke.
