Bridgeport, Connecticut Christopher Phillip Chapman (DeMarco) passed away on March 16, 2017 at Bridgeport Memorial Hospital. He was 24. Born on February 5, 1993 in Bury St. Edmunds, England. He is the son of Kolleen A. DeMarco and Robert J. Chapman. He is the husband of Trang Leah Luong whom he married in September of 2016. He was a graduate of Hoosic Valley Central Schools where he had played varsity football and had recently graduated with a BA in Martial Arts Studies from the University of Bridgeport and worked as a manager at LA Fitness in Milford, CT. Survivors include his stepfather Paul Beaudry, his step brother Jonathan Beaudry, his half sister Hayley Chapman and a half brother Justin Chapman. Maternal grandfather Ignazio Philip DeMarco, his aunts and uncles Dr. Kristine DeMarco, Kevin (Vickie) DeMarco, Kirk DeMarco and Bruce (Mary) Chapman. He is predeceased by his uncle Keith DeMarco and his maternal grandmother Yolanda DeMarco. Calling hours from 5-7:00pm on Friday, March 24, 2017 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 173 Main Street, Schaghticoke. Funeral service will be conducted at 10am on Saturday in the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Memorys Garden, Colonie. There will be a gathering following calling hours on Friday at 7:30pm at the American Legion Post 731, 181 Main Street Schaghticoke to support his family.
