Cathleen A. Jones-Campbell Rensselaer County - Schaghticoke Cathleen "Cathy" A. Jones-Campbell, of Hemstreet Road in Schaghticoke, died peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was 61 years old. Born in Troy NY, to the late Frederick "Bud" and Marilyn (Aldrich) Jones. Wife of late Douglas Campbell who passed away in May of 2008. A 1976 graduate of Hoosic Valley High School and the Bryant and Stratton Business School in Buffalo, NY. Until her recent retirement Cathy had worked at the Hoosac Valley Farmers Exchange in Schaghticoke where she was a bookkeeper but we all know she did more than that, she did just a little bit of everything from answering phones to carrying feed to your truck. Cathy was a wonderful crafter and avid quilter, and although a piece of her heart has always belonged to the ocean and lighthouses that stand vigilant watch, her favorite past time was being "Mimi" to her cherished family who survive her, including her two sons, Frederick (Nelson Parker) Campbell and Christopher Campbell both of Schaghticoke, her daughter Jessica (Mike) Zupan of Mechanicville and their two children, Cathys beloved, and adorable grandsons; Evan and Brayden, her brother, Sidney (Shelly) Jones of Schaghticoke, Cathys niece, Carrie (Chuck) Dunham and their three daughters; Lindsey, Mackenzie, and Willow all of Clifton Park, her Aunt, Mabel Seymour of Schaghticoke, as well as numerous cousins. Cathy is also survived by her two life-long best friends from elementary school, the sisters she never had, Donna (TJ) Pfiester of Georgia and Wanda (Santo) Derico of Michigan. In addition to being predeceased by her parents and husband, Cathy joins her daughter Amanda "Mandy" Campbell in Heaven, who passed away in November of 2008. Due to current restrictions, there will be no public services. A private funeral will be conducted by Reverend Ted Wright and burial will take place in the family plot in Elmwood Cemetery in Schaghticoke.
