Obituary

Carrie Ann (Tousignant) LaBarge of Ottomine Way passed away at home on February 12, 2026 with her loving husband and daughter at her side. She was 63.

Born on January 23, 1963 in Cohoes, she attended Cohoes High School. Following high school she enlisted in the Army National Guard. She is the wife of George Thomas LaBarge.

Carrie grew up with her grandparents, Joseph and Mary Rose (Pauline) Tousignant. She was a home maker and also worked as a groundskeeper for the Saratoga Race Course where she could embrace her love for gardening. She also enjoyed working on cars , woodworking and shopping for clothes - usually not for herself. Recently she found she was good at making greeting cards and was always pleased with the results. Carrie was always one to undertake fun, weird projects and make them excel. She adored her grandchildren and loved her dogs.

Survivors in addition to her husband George Thomas LaBarge include her children, Paul Edward Baum, III and Tara Ann LaBarge (James Houck), her sisters, Laurie Wells-Tousignant and Kimberly Tousignant (Joseph Chicorelli), her grandchildren Amelia Houck, George Houck and Jesse Nerney. Also survived by her nieces and nephews, Eric Tousignant, Amanda Chicorelli, Jessica Wells, Chad Wells, Corey Wells and Kyle Wells, her life long friends Kyle Keefe and Mary Parent as well as several cousins.

She is predeceased by her grandparents, her father, Ronald Tousignant and her aunts and uncles.

Services for Carrie will be private and at the convenience of her family.
