Carol Lee Seymour, a respected professional, passionate animal advocate, and cherished family member, passed away on November 13, 2024, at Glens Falls Hospital. Born on January 9, 1939, in Schenectady, New York, to Harold and Caroline Kottke, Carol led a rich and fulfilling life guided by her commitment to work, her love for animals, and her connections with family.

Throughout her career, Carol's talent and dedication shone through her work at various local businesses. She also channeled her entrepreneurial spirit and creative prowess into establishing her own interior design business as a side endeavor, making a mark in the design community with her keen eye for style.

Carol's love for animals was boundless, and she made it a priority to support the ASPCA, an organization that aligned with her values and compassionate nature. Her devotion to animal welfare serves as a reminder of her kind heart and generosity.

Having lived in North Carolina, Texas, and Florida before returning to her home state of New York upon retirement, Carol embraced the adventure of travel and the richness of new experiences.

Carol is predeceased by her sister Patricia Kling, brother George Kottke and parents Harold and Caroline Kottke. While they may have departed this world before her, their legacies continue to be remembered by those who knew them.

Survived by her nephew Curtis Kling ( Lori Kling ) and their son Curt Kling II ( Eryn D'Entremont ) her nephew Kevin Kling ( MaryLouise Kling ), Carol's memory lives on in the hearts of her family and the many lives she touched throughout her vibrant life.

In accordance with her wishes, no funeral ceremony will be held. Those wishing to honor Carol's memory are encouraged to make donations to the ASPCA, ensuring her commitment to the welfare of animals will continue for generations to come.
