Carl J. Palmucci of Kingston passed away Sunday Feb 18, 2018 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, NY. Carl was born August 30, 1936 in Mechanicville, NY, the son of the late Rose and Phillip Palmucci. Carl was a veteran of the US Army and a graduate of the Mohawk Valley Technical Institute. Upon graduation, he was hired by IBM where he worked for over 35 years until his retirement in 1993. Carl is survived by his children John and wife Nicole and their son Christopher of Kingston, Michael and Diana Heano and very close friend Anne Griffen, all of whom are from Suffern and provided his care the last few years, Daniel and Lisa Sickler and his son Anthony, and Annmarie Fitzgerald and her husband Glenn and their children Brian and Kevin. Siblings Vincent, Nick, and Marlene Palmucci, and Rosemary Urban survive as well. Relatives and friends may call from 10-11:30am on Friday, February 23, 2018 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 319 Park Avenue, Mechanicville, NY. Funeral mass will follow at 12 noon at All Saints on the Hudson, formerly St. Peter's Church, Hudson Avenue, Stillwater with internment at 1:30pm in the Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY.
