Stillwater- Saratoga County Candis J. Eddy, 48, of County Road 76 passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Salamanca on April 9, 1964, daughter of the late Harry W. and Dorothy (Jones) Eddy. She was raised in Tomhannock and attended Hoosic Valley Central School. She loved the outdoors and fishing. Her grandchildren were the highlight of her life. Survivors include her son, Mark A. Whitney (Nicole K.) of Galway, her daughter, Allison L. Whitney of Stillwater, her grandchildren, Hailee and Hunter Whitney of Galway, her sister, Carolyn Kolstee of Silver Springs, FL., her boyfriend, Mark Silloway of Stillwater, Adopted son, Shawn Hurlburt (Leah E.) of Clifton Park and lifetime friend Susan Thomas of Schaghticoke. Also survived by many friends, nieces and nephews. Candi is predeceased by her sister, Theresa. Relatives and friends may call from 5-7 on Monday, May 14, 2012 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 729 Hudson Avenue, Stillwater. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday at 11:00am in the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Peters Cemetery, Stillwater.
