Brian Stephen Daigle, Sr.
Brian Stephen Daigle, Sr. of Buttermilk Falls Road passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Albany Medical Center. He was 61.
Brian was born on June 26, 1954 in St. Johnsbury, VT, son of the late Albert Joseph and Priscilla (Davis) Daigle. He is the husband of Madeline J. (Batchelder) Daigle.
Brian worked as a track foreman for the Pan Am Railway in Deerfield, MA. He was an avid hunter and was a member of the Buttermilk Falls Hunt Club. He is a past member of the Hoosic Valley Rescue Squad and also enjoyed honey bee keeping.
Survivors in addition to his wife, Madeline include a daughter, Stacy (Michael) Austin of Cohoes and a son, Brian Stephen Daigle, Jr. (Christina Bink) of Lansingburgh, his grandchildren Jacob Daigle, Joseph Bink, Joshua Daigle and Cassidy Daigle. Also survived by his siblings, David Daigle of Melrose, Bruce Daigle of Schaghticoke, Deborah (Paul) Savaria of Schaghticoke, Judith (Edward) Higgins of Mechanicville and Cathy Jordan (David Atkinson) of Glens Falls.
He is predeceased by his sister in law, Mavert Daigle.
Relatives and friends may call from 4-8:00pm on Monday, November 23, 2015 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 319 Park Avenue, Mechanicville. Funeral service will be conducted at 10am on Tuesday, November 24 at Hoosic Valley Community Church, 2024 Route 40, Schaghticoke. Burial will be in St. Pauls Cemetery, Mechanicville.
