Beverly F. Warren Speanburg Cushing, 90, formally of Johnsonville, died on September 5th at the Center for Nursing and Rehab in Hoosick Falls after succumbing to Alzheimer's disease.

Beverly was born on October 5th, 1933 in Johnsonville, to Gladys and Milton Warren and was nicknamed "Sis". She was the former wife of Donald Speanburg.

Beverly is predeceased by a son Jon Speanburg and her three brothers and two sisters-in-laws and one daughter-in-law. Robert (Wilma) Warren, Wesley (Betsey) Warren, Bryan (Gail) Warren and Katherine Speanburgh.

Survived by her four children, Donald Speanburgh of Melrose NY, Steven (Laurie) Speanburg of Eagle Bridge NY, Cathy Jo Speanburg of Buskirk NY and Jay Speanburg of Valley Falls NY. Also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as nieces that referred to her as "Aunt Sis". Beverly was a member of the Valley Falls Methodist Church and was graduate of Hoosic Valley School in Schaghticoke and the Mary McClellan School of Nursing in Cambridge. Bev was then employed as an LPN for over 30 years at the former Mary McClellan Hospital in Cambridge until she retired.

Bev's family would like to Thank Dr. Matthew Pender for always making our mother a priority. Special thanks to Diane at the Memory Care Unit in Cambridge for having a loving and caring relationship and always treating Mom with dignity and respect. Thank you to Tracey LPN and Jennifer CNA at CNR in Hoosick Falls for their compassion. Thanks to Community Hospice for their diligence and support to Bev and her family. Per Beverly's request there will be no calling hours the burial will be private at Elmwood Cemetery in Schaghticoke.
