Frisino, Bette A. Bette Frisino of Johnsonville passed away Friday, October 14, 2016 with her loving family by her side. She was 60. Born in Troy, N.Y. the daughter of Winifred (Griswold) Ferguson and the late Roy F. Herrington. Beloved wife of Joel F. Frisino with whom she shared 38 years of marriage. Bette was a graduate of Russell Sage College majoring in Fine Arts. She was employed at Hudson Valley Community College for over 30 years, most recently in the role of Director of Functional Support Services. In addition to her mother and husband Bette is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Eric and Tegan Elizabeth Frisino of Glens Falls, her sister Barbara (Donald) Herrington of Starksborro, Vt., Brother-in-laws Scott (Jean) Frisino and Jan Frisino, nephews Justin and Elliot Frisino and nieces McKenzie and Megan Frisino. A memorial service will be conducted at 3 p.m. October 19, 2016 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes 173 Main Street Schaghticoke, N.Y. Family and friends are invited to visit with Bettes family from 1 to 3 pm prior to the service. Burial will follow the service in the Miller Town Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions in memory of Bette be made to Carriage House Arts Center at Living Resources, 300 Washington Avenue Extension, Albany N.Y. 12203.
