Stillwater, Saratoga County Barbara C. Purcell of Hudson Avenue passed away at home on Thursday, August 12, 2021 with her loving family at her side. She was 86. Born in Troy on February 16, 1935, daughter of the late Walter J. and Mary F. (Kalduff) ONeill. She is the wife of William Purcell whom she married in 1968. Barbara worked for Montgomery Ward as a data processor. She also worked as secretary to the supervisor for the Town of Stillwater. She was a communicant of All Saints on the Hudson Church (Formerly St. Peter the Apostle). She enjoyed arranging flowers, going on cruises, casinos and traveling. Survivors in addition to her husband of 55 years, William Purcell include her children, Dawn Purcell of Troy, William (Jennifer) Purcell of Malta and Kenneth (Wendy) Purcell of Clifton Park, her grandchildren, Nathan Myott, David Purcell, Stephen Purcell, Ava Purcell and Logan Purcell, two great grandchildren Brian Myott and Kayla Myott and one great great grandson Shawn Michael. She is predeceased by her beloved son, Edward and her siblings Joseph ONeill and Alice ONeill Finn. A service will be conducted at St. Peters Cemetery on Friday, August 27, 2021 at 11:00am.
