Loudonville, Albany County Barbara A. Paulus, 89, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2021 from COVID-19. Barbara is survived by her children, Robin Laurenzo, Jon Paulus and Mark (Amy) Paulus; grandchildren, Katy (Adam Lanza) Coleman, Michelle (Jon) Cash, Eve Paulus and Eric Paulus; great granddaughter Gabby Cash. She was predeceased by her husband William Paulus, daughter Susan Paulus, sister Betsy (Ken) Andrews, son in law Vince Laurenzo and her parents Pearl and Melvin Mich. Barbara was born on May 11, 1932 in New York City and spent her childhood in Germantown, NY. She married William on November 23, 1952 and raised her children in Loudonville, NY. Barbara was a registered nurse, an avid quilter, a dedicated animal lover, and by all accounts the most genuinely kind person those who knew her ever met. No funeral or memorial services are planned, and, in lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society.
