Anthony J. Bullis, Jr., of High Street passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at the Home of the Good Shepherd. He was 88.

Born in Troy on August 22, 1935, son of the late Anthony J. and Mary (Skowronsky) Bullis, Sr. He is the husband of Phyllis Bullis.

Anthony is a veteran of the US National Guard. He went on to work for St. Paul's Church and Cemetery in Mechanicville as custodian and caretaker and worked a number of jobs including Allegheny Steel, Canada Dry, and as a tree trimmer until he was hired at General Electric in Schenectady where he worked as a crane operator. He retired from General Electric after 25 years of service. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing with his son and grandson.

Survivors in addition to his wife Phyllis include his son, Anthony (Lillian) Bullis, III and a daughter Bonnie Batchelder both of Stillwater, his grandchildren, Patricia (Jacob) O'Kay of Pulaski, Thomas (Gabrielle) Bullis of Stormville, Allen Batchelder, III and Amanda (Ryan) Couture both of Clifton Park. Also survived by four great grandchildren, John and Jordan O'Kay and Chase and Jett Couture.

Calling hours will be from 10am – 12 noon on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at the Chase-Smith Family Funeral Homes, 729 Hudson Avenue, Stillwater. A prayer service will be held at 12 noon in the funeral home with burial to follow in St. Paul's Cemetery, Mechanicville.
