Anna May (Carroll) Post of Ormond Beach, Florida, formerly of Schaghticoke passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 20, 2014. She was 68. Born in Troy on March 27, 1946, daughter of the late William and Anna (Cunningham) Carroll. Anna was the beloved wife of Victor R. Post, Jr. whom she married on September 20, 1964 in South Egremont, Massachusetts. They would have celebrated their 50 wedding anniversary in September. Anna was a bus driver for the Hoosic Valley Central School and was a proud member of the Red Hat Society. Survivors in addition to her husband include their children: Carol A. (Jeffrey Bleau) Post of Guilderland, Robert W.(Rita Grimes)Post of Greensburgh, IN and Joyel F. (Eric Simmons) Carey of Schaghticoke. Grandchildren: Randal, Matthew, Eric, Mariah, Ashley and Brianna. Anna's twin sister Rose (Frank) Kellogg of Waterford, her brother, William (Wendy) Carroll of Crown Point, and her sister, Helen (Kenneth) Culnan of Broadalbin. Also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, Anna was predeceased by her two sisters: Ruth Cancilla and Patricia Coonrad. Relatives and friends may call from 3-4pm on Sunday, May 25 at the Hoosic Valley Community Church, 2024 State Route 40 in Schaghticoke. A funeral service will be conducted at 4pm with a luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice in Anna's honor.
