Schaghticoke, Rensselaer County Anna Mae Ella Lesson, lifelong resident of the Village of Schaghticoke passed away on Friday, October 2, 2015 at St. Peters Hospital in Albany. She was 65. Born on January 24, 1950, in Troy, daughter of the late Alfred and Katherine (Spillane) Lesson. Anna Mae worked as a bookkeeper and cashier for the Hoosic Valley Shop N Save in Schaghticoke. She always loved seeing and visiting with the customers and she enjoyed spending time with her close friends. She touched many lives, both old and young in the village and will be greatly missed. Anna Mae is survived by her nephew, David (Catherine) Lesson of Buskirk and a niece, Darcy Bechand of Mechanicville, her aunts Agnes Spillane of CA and Peggy Sawyer and family of Broadalbin and her close friend Dawn Thomson and her family. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brothers, Alfred and Robert Lesson.
