Andrea Burdick, 40, of Hoosick Falls passed away peacefully at her brother and sister in law's home surrounded by love.

Born on July 10, 1985, to the late Edmund F. Burdick Sr and Susan (Hussey) Burdick of Johnsonville.

Andrea graduated from Hoosic Valley High School and went on later to marry Erik Dawson with whom she had three beautiful children with. Andrea was a stay-at-home mom and loved her kids tremendously. They were her most precious and proudest accomplishments. Andrea loved planning birthdays and holidays for her children. She also had a huge love for all animals and if she could have, she would have rescued them all. She had many pets throughout her lifetime.

Many knew Andrea's struggles and her insurmountable pain and if love could have saved her, she would still be here.

Andrea was predeceased by her father Edmund F Burdick, SR, whom she missed terribly. Left to mourn this terrible loss, along with her mother Susan are her brothers, Edmund F. Burdick, Jr, and Matthew Burdick (Michelle Place). Her three children, Jayden Erik Dawson, Aaliyah Faith Dawson, Dylan Jacob Dawson and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The family asks for privacy and prayers while they navigate through the pain of losing her.

Services will be private by the family and in lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be made in Andrea's name to an animal rescue of choice and/or the Community Hospice.
