Alma Rita Sweeney, 96, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at the Wesley Health Care Center in Saratoga Springs. She was formerly of the Home of the Good Shepard in Malta. Born on November 13, 1914 daughter of the late Felix & Ada Forget Russett. Widower of Kenneth W. Sweeney who died in 2006. Alma was a communicate of St. Peters Church in Stillwater. Survivors include a daughter; Judy (Anthony) Froehlich of Saratoga Springs, one brother; Lawrence Russett and six grandchildren; Michael, Stephen, Carl, William, Patti Gromling, Kathy Moreland as well as eighteen great grandchildren. A funeral mass will be held at 9:00am on Saturday, November 20th at St. Peters Church, Hudson Avenue in Stillwater. Arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn Funeral Homes, Inc., 319 Park Avenue Mechanicville.
