Alice Boots M. Waldron of East Street passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Diamond Hill Nursing Center. She was 85. Born in Schaghticoke on February 23, 1931, daughter of the late John and Mabel (Lesson) Bevis. She is the widow of Leroy A. Waldron. Boots enjoyed playing scratch off tickets and was an avid tennis and baseball fan. She especially enjoyed watching the New England Patriots and her favorite, Tom Brady. Survivors include her children, Leroy (Cindy) Waldron of Speigletown, Rick Waldron of Westchester, Bill Waldron of Schaghticoke, Debbie (Craig) Vanwie of Lake Luzerne and Gregory (Heidi) Waldron of Schaghticoke. Also her brother John (Pheobe) Bevis of Schaghticoke and her several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, close friends Barb and George Bates, Jean Allen, Julie and Dixie Conlee as well as her friends at the Hannaford Shop N Save in Schaghticoke. She is predeceased by her brother Donny Bevis. A celebration of her life will be conducted at a later date.
