Stillwater, Saratoga County Agnes Rita (Wood) LaPointe passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at Wesley Health Care Center in Saratoga Springs. She was 95. Born on June 20, 1926 in Plattsburgh, daughter of the late Victor and Alice (Stone) Wood. She is the widow of Victor J. LaPointe, Sr., who passed away in 2002. Agnes retired from Ballston Spa National Bank and was a communicant of the former St. Peter the Apostle Church in Stillwater and St. Pauls Church in Mechanicville. She also attended St. Isaac Jogues chapel on the lake. Agnes favorite past time was watching the New York Yankees. Survivors include her children, Judy (Judd) White of FL, James (Mary) LaPointe of Glens Falls, Victor (Terry) LaPointe, Jr. of VA, Mark (Cheryl) LaPointe of Whitehall, Mary (Ken) McCleave and Jodi (Paul) Coleman both of Stillwater. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her 11 siblings. A Funeral Mass will be conducted at 10am on Monday, November 15, 2021 at All Saints on the Hudson (St. Peter the Apostle). Burial will follow at 11:30am in the Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
